Introduction
Hi! I am a 3rd-year PhD student in the Department of Statistics at Harvard. My research is centered around Probability Theory, Machine Learning Theory, and Mathematical Statistics. I received my undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Princeton University.
They say that one can only truly understand a subject through teaching, and teaching is an endeavor that I have pursued for many years. At Princeton and Harvard, I worked as a TA for a wide range of classes, working with students by leading precepts and holding office hours. I have also worked with many students through private tutoring, in topics ranging from math/physics competitions, schoolwork, college-level mathematics, and SAT/exam prep.
My hobbies include tennis, rock climbing, and I am (trying) to learn to play jazz piano. I'm also an Age of Empires II enthusiast.
